Organizing for All The Things
My other passion is organizing.
Anything you need organized, cleaned, or tidied, I'm there.
I am an organizer.
Long before I learned I was Autistic, I was happily organizing and reorganizing my toys as a child, my closet, my room. Putting IKEA furniture together with nothing but an Allen key and a screwdriver, even if it takes 6 hours, sign me up. My personal bookshelves are organized by genre and author, my clothes by fabric weight and colour.
Yes, I fell into the KonMari and Home Edit rabbit hole. No, your spaces don’t have to be that organized if you don’t want them to be.
Naturally my skills also transfer to digital spaces: spreadsheets, file organization, strategy documents, etc.
From large spaces like an office layout to small spaces like the desk drawers, I can find a system that works for you and your needs.
Staying organized is the bane of many people’s existence, but it can be done. And I will walk you through each step of the process, assessing what you have, what you actually need, and what you want.
01
Physical Spaces
Ever seen a computer screen with files scattered around in no particular order? Yeah, it stresses me out too. This is, of course, where I come in. Similar to physical spaces, digital ones follow the same line of questioning:
-
Is it visually clear? Do the categories and subcategories make sense?
-
Is it functional? Does it meet your needs?
-
Is it accessible? Can others find something when they need it?
02
Digital Spaces
Time blocking, the Pomodoro technique, scheduling free time first, the MIT method, and more. There are plenty of planning and scheduling methods out there, but they’re not all going to work for you.
If you’re neurodivergent like me, it only adds another layer to the work-life balance puzzle. For you ADHDer’s out there, I see you and I just might be able to help.
03
Daily Planning
From marketing strategies, to social media content scheduling, to project management and beyond, I can help you make a plan, adapt as we go, and get those boxes checked off.
A solid, foundational plan and strategy ensures you’re heading in the right direction and allows you to course correct when you need to.
